How many cylinders will you remove?

A few years back I had low oil pressure and couldn't figure out why, after removing the engine and splitting the case I found the the main journal was cracked across the oil port. The general consensus at the time was that the crack developed due to improper torquing duing a cylinder removal. My que...

Re: Windows 8, Windows 8, what about it we don't apprectiate

Take a bite of the Apple. You'll wish you had done it sooner. I like the Mac because you open the box, turn it on, and it works. Just that simple. My 79 year old Mother just got her first one, took the one hour class down at the Apple store, and she loves it. I just watched a documentary about the ...

Re: Flexible brake line pics?

Ash, that is leading edge tape that we use on the winglets of our big airplanes. It is thick tape that does a great job with nicks and scratches.

Re: Flexible brake line pics?

I am in the process of turning my brakes around to the back side of the gear leg and as part of this project I made new lines. Looking at the IPC it shows a hard line to the caliper. I thought this was odd but that is what I made. Now I find this posting, that's what I get for doing my research afte...

Re: Cessna 170 Ornament

Hallmark has a collection called "Sky's the Limmit". My wife stared buying them for me the year we started dating witch by coincidence was the first year of the collection. Sadly they haven't seen fit to offer a 170. But as someone pointed out they did offer a 195.

Canton Ohio

Hi All,

We are considering a move that would take us to the Canton / Akron Ohio area. I was wondering if there are any embers here who could shed some light on a good area to live in with school aged kids.

Thanks for any help.

Re: FAA Registration Information

This discussion brings up an interesting question. I once sold a 182 and the new owner didn't registar the airplane for years after he bought it. I found out by doing a search on the FAA data base. I asked a mutual friend to tell him it need to be registard as the FAA thought I still owned the airpl...

Re: Green vs. Red Debate help

Justin, Where is the airplane located. I have seen many times where someone would ask if there was any one on the forum near a possible purchurse airplane and ask if someone would check it out. If you find out that it sounds like something you are interested in ask if anyone knows an IA who will do ...
