Does anyone out there happen to know what the hole center to center measurement is on the main lift strut on a 48?
Thanks!

C-145/O-300 Parts Manual pages 6&7
I purchased this manual online, but when it arrived, pages 6&7 are missing. Of course those are the ones I need, does anyone have one that would be willing to scan and send? I need a part number for one of the through bolts.
Many Thanks.

48 H-Stab Angle of Incidence
I know this is an old thread, but I got a definitive answer from Cessna regarding this measurement on a 48 Ragwing.
Horizontal Stabilizer Angle of Incedence = -4 degrees measured against the leveling reference, upper door sill.

I've been all over the area where this crash occurred elk hunting over the years. It's about 15 minutes flying from my home airport. Awfully rough country. I flew up and took a look at the crash site in the very early morning last week with another much more experienced mountain pilot. Those guys ar...

Tailcone Skin Damage
I have been restoring a 1948 ragwing that's finally getting close, I think, to being ready to re-assemble, but I had a bit of a setback yesterday. I removed the tailwheel mounting bracket and replace it due to a bend and discovered damage to the rear bulkead, part no 0512108-3, and the lower skin. T...

Try JW Duff Aircraft in Denver. He's got several, or did have a month ago or so. Also, I believe the Cessna 140 used the same aileron (same part number), so you might try their association website.

Paint Stripping Tips?
I'm trying to get 20V ready for her first new paint in about 40 years, and I'm curious if there's anyone out there willing to share some tips about stripping old paint and prepping for new. I've started on the control surfaces and its pretty slow going. Paint comes off great, but the primer undernea...

Rudder Alignment Question
This may be a stupid question, but I'll ask anyway. I'm restoring a '48 ragwing and just bolted the rudder onto the v-stab and noticed something curious. When the counter-balance is in the neutral position, the rudder is deflected about 3 degrees to the right. A thorough inspection revealed no damag...

Swaged Cable Fitting #'s
I'm building all new control cables for my 48' ragwing and I'm stuck on some part numbers...
Elevator trim - ends that attach to the chains.
Aileron - ends that attach to the chain
If anyone out there has any info on the AN/NAS # for these fittings, I'd be grateful.
Thanks.

Ragwing Rigging
Does anyone out there have any data/experience with the drag wire rigging on the ragwing? I've got a wing rebuilt, but have struggled to find any data or info on tightening the drag wires.
Thanks.
Thanks.
