This is the later model Rangemaster.. the one with the Cabin instead of a canopy and a 285hp IO520 to pull it along. It grosses out at about 3115lbs. It carries 108 gallons of fuel which gives it a lot of endurance.

It does seem to be an easy plane to fly... I had the opportunity to put about four hours on it last week on a long cross country. Flew nice, lots of room & five seats. Seemed to have some sort of funky dutch roll in turbulence however. I couldn't quite figure out where it was coming from so dutc...

Actually my family is out growing the 170 so I'm looking for something bigger... right now the plane I am looking at is a '68 Navion Rangemaster.
