Have your Bendix mags rebuilt a lot cheaper. I highly recomend Aircraft Systems, 5187 Falcon Road, Rockford, Ill. 61109 Telephome 1-815-399-0225. I have used them for overhauling and or inspecting and repair as necessary for three sets of mags. Always excellent work.

I have run car gas for 40 years without ANY problems,summer or winter. I've flown it in temperatures ranging from 100F to -25F, no problems. I once had a similar problem in my Cub with a Cont. C-90,(same cylinder assemblys as 0-300). The engine would run rough and lose about 250RPM.
