I have replaced the whole inside of my scott tailwheel and I still get an amazing amount of shimmy. It has become so bad that I have needed to replace my tailwheel tire 2X in less than 20 hours. now I do some instructing in the plane which is hard on it, but I still think there is something myself a...

I am wondering are 140-120 fuel tanks the same as 170 (1948) :?

oil temp

I have had my 170 (1948) with o300 ( metal wings) for a little over a year. I am noticing oil temps running at red line most of the summer . Of course I live in southern utah and it is 90-100 all summer. What is the solution? or "a" solution. :?:

I have a 1948 and want to equalize my fuel. instead of 12.5 on the left and 25 on the right. Is it possible to get an 2 equal fuel tanks?

fuel tanks (replacement)

I have a 1948 170 with metal wings and metal fuel tanks 2 12.5 tanks in one side and 1 in the other. The tanks are bad and my gascolator keeps filling with gunk. I want to replace them with something any ideas?
