Re: 170B Left Main Landing Gear

There is an article about the proper fitting of the gear leg and shims located at: http://www.skywagon.or...

...Cee Bailey and believe me they are not very helpful with the paperwork. .... They are idiots as business people. Also it takes bolts along the top and the LP Aero does not which is somewhat an advantage. As far as making your own side windows it's real easy with a bandsaw and metal (fine) blade ...

Autopilot Called George
When autopilots first became available, there happened to be a saying, "Let George do it", which was part of a wartime poster that said, basically, that you couldn't do that- you had to do it yourself, or no one would do it. The "Let George do it" attitude was something to be sta...

Re: Seat Rails
Love the new site. Hope we can eventually store PDF's and other documents here. Most ISPs allow a certain amout of bytes to be uploaded on it's server; one could always upload any file and link to it in a post. So, instead of burdening this site with memory prolific files, just upload any file you ...

Re: Keeping Up with the Crawdads
The smilies were caught while in west Louisiana this last weekend. I think the hotel didn't use bleach in the linen-laundry. Rumor has it that FlyGuy has a whole stockade of them he's intending on unleashing. I sure wish I coulda been there. I ain't had no good "poo-bo'ahs" in a long time...

Keeping Up
I know that George, I simply meant that there are tons of posts already. Any moron could see that the new posts are with little tan or orange or whatever they are indications. As I said, it's easy to navigate.

(the smilies are a bit dippy though) heh.

Re: removing glue/foam
If I were you, I'd want to beat up the nut that glued carpet down. MEK or some other solvent will remove the zinc chromate primer. Alcohol might work. Have a fire extinguisher handy. (You can't see alcohol-fed flames so be careful.) Do it outside the hangar. Even if you have to touch up the primer,...
