I use only 100LL.
The big mystery to me is why it only leaks when RIGHT is selected..

170B Fuel Selector Valve leak
My 1955 170B fuel selector has just started leaking. It is the correct machined aluminum block version. All B nuts are snug. I cannot tell where the leak is coming from, the top plate and sides appear dry, no blue stains. I get 1 drip on the bottom about every 15 seconds, but only when the RIGHT tan...

Adding a shoulder harness to a B model
I've read here that my 1953 170B should have a #10 rivnut installed in it's rear spar, for installation of a shoulder harness, but I've looked, in the vicinity of the rear door post, and cannot find it. Can someone direct me very specifically to it's location and/or send a photo? Thanks!
