Thanks for your time/thoughts regarding screws vs. rivets in the seat rails. I think that I'll go with rivets.

Has anyone used the approved screws to attach the seat rails rather than rivets as advertised at McFarlane Aviation when replacing seat rails?

Thanks to all for your thoughts. My generator has never given me any problems. Some owners have said that they like the fact that an alternator comes online quicker than a generator.

I have a pair of Wesco wheel replacement skis that came with my 170B when I bought it. The skis have the safety cables and tip up springs attached. Included were the attaching brackets for the fuselage. However, I can't locate any approved data regarding mounting procedures. Any ideas where I might ...

Thanks to everyone who provided some info for me about the registration numbers on the wing. I have located a Cessna Drawing #0500020 for the paint scheme on the '55 model airplane. In the notes section, a entry is listed the says "For location & size of registration numbers, refer to 04001...
