Delaire make a nose bowl, though whether they will sell you one without their STC I have no idea.

This confuses me too when yesterday they announced that double vaccinated Europeans could enter US. And US double vaccinated can visit Canada.

Wilkerson will retread your Goodyears, very reasonable, but shipping is tough from here.
I used the airtrac 8:50s for a while, but they wear a lot faster than the Goodyears

Re: My T3 tailwheel is installed
Interested to see how this helps with geometry of the bushwheel. I find it almost impossible to stop shimmy on pavement with a regular tailspring.
No field approvals in Canada, so no T3 for me.

Only three countries – the U.S., Liberia and Myanmar – still (mostly or officially) stick to the imperial system.
I rest my case.

There are enough clues on the belly to demand a thorough gearbox inspection. The pre buy failed completely, but the chances of recovery after purchase are probably z...

I am really sorry for your unpleasant surprise. Get it to someone who really knows these airframes and do it right. Might be painful in the short term but it really is the only good option.

I have to admit I was totally confused by the picture. Local corrosion? Bruce’s explanation is understandable.

Re: Tailwheel chain tension
And I think you have the later style with the pulleys on the bulkhead and separate tailwheel cables (rather than from the rudder directly)? Do not run them too tight or you risk tearing the pulleys from the bulkhead - a common problem with these models. Again should be pictures on here somewhere.

Since I started using avgas 40 years ago in every gas engine I have without a catalytic converter, I have ne...
