Can anyone tell me where to get a wing tip for a 1948 rag wing. Im looking at a project, but want to make sure I can find the parts to fix it. Different Flight Characteristics of the Rag wing and 170A
Can someone tell me what the different flight characteristics are between the 170 rag wing and the 170A. I know the rag wing has smaller flaps but they shure are long. Whant about payload, cuise speed. etc. And what about VG's on a rag wing?

Correction: I said shorter take off distance but after reading it again, I imagine that he ment getting into shorter runways with the larger flaps or perhaps, both. I guess the main things is getting back out though.

Thats exactly what I need to know. I like the extra baggage area for gear and the shorter take off distance. The A models seem to be a little cheeper but I usually choose the most expensive toys anyway. Thank you all for your imput.
