C170A Flap Link Assembly P/N 0523225
Hi Folks, I am trying to find 2 new/refurbished Link Assemblies for my C170A. The part number is 0523225 and is shown on the Cessna 170A Parts Catalog Page 11 Fig 6-19, and page 19 Fig 11-19. The Link Assemblies are the same and are interchangable. Can anybody help me source these two parts? For ref...

Re: Chicago 2105 Stanley Cup champions
Well, they re-ignited my interest in the 'Hawks this year. Many, many, many years ago I was an ardent Chicago fan - Glenn Hall, Stan Makita, Elmer "Moose" Vasko, and of course Bobby Hull with that thundering slap shot. Who could forget those guys. Now the young guns are building their own ...

Re: Assist straps
Hi Dave,
They are mounted to the trim panel. There is not much room behind the trim panel so you have to do some custom fitting.
They support lots of weight. It sure makes entering/exiting a lot easier, and safer!
Cheers,
Bill

Re: Assist straps
Hi, I needed 2 assist straps and, as usual, I found this forum to be a wealth of information. It quickly became obvious that sourcing original Cessna straps would be near impossible, but there were lots of solutions posted here and this is the one that I came up with to "McGyver" the situa...

Re: History of C170A S/N 19790
Thanks Aryana. I'll follow up on that and get back to you.
Did/does the factory assign N numbers upon completion, or is it up to the first purchaser to secure the N number?
Thanks for the help.
Cheers,
Bill

History of C170A S/N 19790
Good Day All, I am the proud owner of C-GQHM, Cessna S/N 19790.The aircraft was imported from the USA to Canada in November 1976. I have access to it's Canadian history post-import through the Transport Canada records, but I am curious about the history of this aircraft prior to the Import. I have s...
