Here is a copy of the Flight Manual supplement for Del-Air long-range tanks. This modification adds 7 gallons to each tank, the tanks look like Gary's photo just that the added tankage is smaller. As you can see from the supplement the total fuel is 56 gallons (28 each tank), the total unusable is 5...

Keith,
I have had trouble free 16 years and 800 hours with numerous oil & filter changes with F&M adapter. Picture is during the modification.

Yes, I noticed that immediately when I posted the comment. I’m guessing a repair to the lower cowl must have occurred at some point.

Do some searches here for threads that talk about being sure to replace the Generator/Alternator/Tach drive gasket as one piece, that is a known leak area.

During the time President Obama was in office he very seldom visited his home in Chicago, so the VIP TFRs were infrequent.
