I have a 0-320 B3B conversion. It burns 10 hour pretty much all the time. It's not a smooth as a 0-300, not even close. It climbs well with the constant speed, but has a forward C of G which is great for cargo. Cruise speed is. The same as an 0-300 but I can go a bit faster If I want to throw money...

Any other previous Cessna 180 owners out there, that are now fling 170's? Just curious as to your thoughts on the difference. The 180 is a amazing bird, but there was just something about the 170 that was different in flight, besides the economical difference, etc. I might just being getting to old ...

Kudos to you on the Young Eagles flights! I was about to go O360 but finally found the model of IO needed to fit the STC so went for weight difference. I'm thinking performance will be about the same. But if they fly they are all good.

Just purchased my first 170B, 1954 vintage! I have owned 2 180's & had more fun flying her home than I ever had before! Previous owner was a very good friend & suggested joining up with TIC! So here we are! I hope I can get this stuff on, not very computer savy.
