Yeah!!! awesome idea. I was there in the fall for the big flyinn it was great. That would be a great place for some 170 people to have a flyinn. Might even start a tradition. Im in.....

yeah sentimentle journey in lockhaven pa is about the same with more things to do. but the same great peaple. alot of 170's showed up this past year. its a three or four day event a must do if you ask me....

yeah the camping is no problem they brought in prortable showers that were great and there is a fire pit to sit around at night. the polished and blue 170 is mine thanks for the nice comments.....

hello. you can just go to the web sit lee bottom and they have some awesome pics. and they say there was over 400 planes though out the day. they even got a cool pic of me and my bird camping... cheers

yeah i got down there on fri and sat. saw a lot of 170's prob about 15 or so. great weather all weekend i think the last count on sat there was 362 airplanes on the feild. what a great place.

Iam going to try to go to lee bottom. Have some frends that have gone the last couple of years they say its awsome. I havent been yet. I think it would be great to get a bunch of us there to represent..

Hi I have a 52 pitch prop on mine and see about 107 with decent climb perf. But it came on the plane when i bought it and have never flown any other 170....

Yeah you have to ask for one about this time of year they take them to sun n fun and give them away. They make a new one everyear. I have been luckey and made it down to the show the last couple of years but not this year so we will see if i get my newone sent to me......

Iam private pilot no inst. with 550 tt and about 250 in type i pay 1345.00 per year for hull at 50,000.00. You have to join the eaa / vintage assn. * but the fee is worth ...

I mean the bell crank. I think. It's the arm in the tail that makes the elevators go up and down. I thought that was called the bell crank but i could be wrong. Thanks for the track numbers though..... Brian

Iam in the middle of my ann. thats how the question came up. They do fluter just a wee bit in flight. The tracks are in good shape. As for the bell crank its when you have the insp. cover off on the tail and reach in and wiggle it whith your hand side to side. I think i saw a post or in the news let...

Hi guy's> I have a question does any body have any play in your flaps when they are retracted? I have the b flaps and have some play in mine prob. about a 1/4 inch or less and they wiggle a little during flight. Also how much side to side play in the bellcrank for the elevator is normal ?
