For what it’s worth here’s our 48. If the lock isn’t original it’s done very nicely.

Is this what you are looking for? Don’t have a Cessna logo but this is the factory markings on the side of 4039V. Let me know if you still need any measurements.

48 wire connectors

Does anyone know if this style connector is available and if so where to purchase.

All the wiring to the wings in our 48 has this currently and we are replacing the original wires.

Thanks

Re: REPLACE HEADLINER ZIPPER

For what it’s worth, our headliner is almost certainly original and the zipper measures 49” in length. Obviously each plane may have been different

Re: '48 Fuel pump one way valve

Bruce, I’ll check that after work. Gary, I assume this is the cross piece. DF817A2B-D0AF-405E-9716-F1B9347C21FD.jpeg The fitting with filter was seized in the carb. Back to the check valve - the spring, ball and most of the seat were gone. Plane sat for at least 30 years so anything that the fuel co...

For what it’s worth here’s some pictures from N4039V. Re: Aluminum Spot Welding

Thanks Jim, yes Bruce has been a big help to us in more ways than one. Will be starting a thread of the restoration at some point. Ended up here trying to find a spot welding source since a couple of our control surfaces are damaged.

This is from a '48, the rim is chromed and the lid itself is painted the gray of the interior. The knob is a natural color plastic as described in a previous post.
