New Hampshire Eclipse
Made a last minute decision to fly up to Berlin, NH BML for the eclipse. Perfect weather and about 25 aircraft flew in to this quiet airport. Airport manager and staff were fantastic and we all got a great view, including a close pass of Mt. Washington! Untitled.jpg 20240408_130351.jpg Untitled1.jpg

Re: Stall warning switch vane
Safe Flight is still in business in White Plains, NY. In 2021 I inquired about "overhaul" of the stall warning unit (not the vane) and they quoted $1135. Today their quote is $2530.

Re: Landing Light Surprise
Shielded wire helped but didn't eliminate the problem. Turns out it was a known issue from Whelen for 14 volt systems and they sent updated bulbs which solved the problem.

Re: How to see Aircraft Records, Mantenance, Registration and so much more, FREE and instantly
Thanks for this information, very useful! In researching my aircraft there are 3 337 forms in my possession that do not appear in the FAA records: 1. Peterson Auto Fuel STC (I have the STC) 1984 2. An elevator repair 1998 3. Inspection of Jasco Alternator installation (I have the STC) 1999 Is there ...

Re: IFR Capable 170's
Well, research complete and there is no manifold. The 2 venturis are both feeding a single vacuum system and driving dual suction gauges for some reason.

Re: IFR Capable 170's
Hi Miles,
Thank you, I did see information on the Precise Flight system. You are correct that there is an Airborne 2H3-23 Vacuum Regulating Valve in the system. Now just need locate and probably replace the manifold.
