In the short time I've had my C170, I've gotten nothing but oooohhhhsss and aaaahhhhsss out of folks. I absolutely love flying her. Just got back from a perfect sunset flight with my 6 yr old son and a good friend. Topped it off with a squeaker wheel landing.....great!!!

Hey guys. I did a search on the door latch spring and got some good info for replacing it. My problem now is, I went out to plane and removed door panel (a job in itself), but can't for the life of me figure out how to get access to the latch assembly. I removed the 4 screws that hold the latch plat...

I'm a new owner of a C-170A, and while lurking here I've noticed several comments about part numbers. Is there a book available with part numbers and maybe diagrams? Where could I get such a book?
