Re: Seeking a willing owner and airplane of 170 Near Tampa Fl

Yes there is an adapter made by saber , purchased thru sensenich for the o300D 6 bolt crank. 82 “ prop.
No adapter for 8 bolt crank that I know of.
Ummmm if you want info holler at me.

Have available engine 😉 with prop from sensenich. Does 300plus hours count all, vibe analysis done with dynavibe.

Sounds like good times George. When the pilot fan quits it makes your heart rate go up and you start sweating.

Re: O-300 over sized cylinders

Curious as what engine you were driving when the cylinder head departed? George. I agree new cylinders are the only choice when doing some of these mods. I am not advocating for doing anything illegal or detrimental to the life health safety of the aircraft and or the driver.

Re: O-300 over sized cylinders

agreed. lycon NFS 9-1 pistons as ive been told  might just make that 20 plus HP. and that as ive been told is running on 87 octane real gasoline. was told that no timing needed to be changed and never any detonation. Cant remember who told me all this :D . and it all works with a sensenich grou...

Re: O-300 over sized cylinders

Rethink your ?. Oversize cylinders are used all the time. High compression pistons are the issue not oversize cylinder's. No oversize cylinders will not necessarily make more hp. In the o300 you need to make more rpm. Which is what the go300 did to make more hp. If you exceed the rpm limit's on o300...

Re: Sensenich’s Ground-Adjustable Props

we have tested the 82" on the o300D 6 bolt crank but had to have a prop hub adapter built "sabre manufacturing". we will be testing the 80" and 78" this winter. biggest problem just saying o300engines are the crankshaft / hubs. I do not see it being viuable on a 8 bolt crank...

Re: Airworx 180HP O-300 STC

What is the compression ratio they will be using? I can't find it said anywhere. One can predict what octane fuel by experience. But until it is said and done you don't know. I can say from one engine builder the builds race motors for airplanes 9-1 comp pistons are fine to run 87 octane . No knock ...

Re: Sensenich’s Ground-Adjustable Props

I don’t think we will ever see a stc for our airplanes themselves. If anything it might be just for the particular engine. Example lycoming o360 180 hp. If the engine prop combo is stc’d then you get a field approval for your aircraft. I’m not speaking for sensenich but in my humble opinion I don’t ...
