Anyone familiar with public ski strips in Whitehorse, Yukon. I may make a run over there this weekend if weather permits. Some friends from Whitehorse said Cousins Airstrip, or just land on Shwatka(sp.) Lake.
Thanks, Paul

Here's his web site, he does some pretty neat prints. Don't know him personally just recognize the name. I think his plane or that plane is parked at the north end of Chena Marina (AK28) were I live and park. http://www.sandyjamieson.com/

I bought a dozen new off ebay a few years ago, figure they cost around $6 a piece including shipping. I don't remember the brand but I know REI in Anchorage had the same exact ones for ~$30 a piece. Shop around all the sports stores, Beaver Sports, Inter Mountain Sports, Test the Water all in Fairba...

That was my project today, rebuild my tailwheel. I bought this niffty kit for about $150 at my local parts store, it's made by Alaska Bush Wheels. Only took about 2 hours and minimal profanity. It really tightened things up. The photo is front and back. Later, Paul http://geocities.com/lead_p/ABWreb...

I've been petty happy with the Alaska Tent and Tarp cover, the coldest I've preheated was -40F (to get home). It seem to be holding up well with all my oil leaking on it.

The biggest difference is how they smooth out the rough stuff and they roll a lot better when soft. With the Gar 8.50x10 to get them soft you had to drop the pressure down around 12 psi or less then they didn't want to roll and you run the risk of spinning them on the rim and tearing the valve stem ...

I have the above mentioned lower cowl pieces, 0552002-1 and 0552002-2 they are used, exhaust holes covered, and some small patches I was going to use them but found a whole lower cowl. Email me if interested in seeing photos, there here in Fairbanks (at Chena Marina, AK28) if you or some one you kno...
