That ebay part was the correct one. One issue down many more to go.
Thanks,
Dan

Re: Starter Button Replacement?
I sent a message to that ebay seller requesting a picture of that switch from the side. It appears that it might be correct. Thanks for that link.
Thanks,

Re: Starter Button Replacement?
Hi, The second one Gary posted is like mine. The Delco-Remy p/n 820052 in the other picture is like the one I purchased with different dimensions. When installed on the starter the "button" is closer to the arm/bolt that engages it. I might try drilling a second set of mounting holes in th...

Starter Button Replacement?
Does anyone know where I might be able to find a replacement for the starter button on a C-145? The spring seems to have collapsed and does not push the button back out anymore. If there is a way to replace that spring that would work but it doesn't look like there is a way to reassemble that part. ...

Re: Push button worn out?
Sorry for bringing up an older post but this one is close to answering my question. Does anyone happen to have a part number for a replacement starter button that will work? The return spring on mine has collapsed and it does not appear that it can be repaired. I tried walking into Napa and they ope...

Re: Oil Pressure Gauge Replacement
Hi Gary,
Thanks for letting me know. I have started reading posts and will definitely look at this when we pull out the gauge.

Re: Battery
Thanks for the reply. I am familiar with the odyssey batteries and smaller hardware. I have an old PC680 (same as SBS-J16) sitting in my hangar. I use those type batteries in my experimental. We need to make new battery cables with this battery replacement so adding the correct size battery lug woul...

Re: Oil Pressure Gauge Replacement
We will try to figure out what caused the gauge to stick once we get it out. Not sure I would trust it anymore though. I will probably just replace it with the Rochester for now to get flying. I did not see the difference between their online listing and the catalog page link other than the price in...

Oil Pressure Gauge Replacement
I have a mechanical oil pressure gauge that seems to be stuck. It never reads below 35 PSI even after sitting in the hangar for a week. I need to replace it but I am not sure what to replace it with. The gauge that is in there does not appear to be original. It has Rochester on the face and looks li...

Re: Battery
The EarthX battery would actually be a little less expensive than the Atlee box, STC and battery. It would be something to consider depending on how difficult it would be to get approved. I would also like to see the actual life expectancy of the new battery technology.
Thanks,
Dan

Re: Battery
Dan, have a look at https://www.odysseybatteries.com/odyssey/sbsj16.html Thank you for the link. I have seen that but I am not sure I want to invest the $646 for a new battery box and STC. I would prefer to adapt to the existing battery box with a spacer as it appears some have done in the past. Dan

Re: Battery
Sorry to bring back an older thread again as my first posting and as a relatively new 170B owner but this was the most recent and close to the subject of my question when I did a search. Has anyone obtained a field approval for the SBS-J16 battery in a 170 recently? I am familiar with the Concord an...
