I think is is interesting that they choose a 170 for the giveaway plane since next year EAA is celebrating the 170 for it's showcase.

For a couple years I flew mine with the pump not working. When I realized that it didn't work, I then decided to rebuild and found a corroded hole in the body after cleanup. I ended up with a rebuilt pump.

523 - c145 Ours is base based at 9D4.

Dave Stokes has some from the 170 table at Oshkosh. Not sure what application. We had some questions about them.

Lifetime member - I did it to help the Young Eagle program and I am older than you. There are some other good programs for the future.

I put power connectors beside the headset plugs and no worries about batteries. Still do what we always wanted.

I thought some were used to mount longwire antennas.
