I have read through many posts regarding VGs and larger tires. I have a 1953 170B with 180 gear and P-Ponk, Horton STOL kit and Flint auxiliary fuel tanks (makes the wingspan 38'), it also has an 80" X 43 prop. I hangar at an airport with asphalt runway. I do however like to go to short out of ...

I haven't installed it yet, in fact, I will be flying the 170B home next Monday. But being I had them on my '52 (that I sold in 2004 to get a PA-12), I ordered inertia reel belts from BAS and the tail pull. I also bought and painted the L19 tow hooks. Next will be door stewards.
