Re: Headliner - Spruce or Airtex
Mine is a 49' A model and yes they have a little old lady there who actually sews them up. They will also ask how you want the zipper to run. Across the airframe or fwd to aft. Mine runs fwd to aft. Here are some photos. One is during the install before I shrank it. The next is how it looks today. T...

Minimum equipment required for IFR flight
I am having trouble finding what is the minimum equipment required to file an IFR flight plan legally. I know that you must have valid 91.411 and 413 altimeter and transponder inspections, but I can’t find anything about other required equipment. I vaguely remember something about the minimum equi...

Re: Headliner - Spruce or Airtex
Bruce, They did have me measure where the bows went and fill out a sheet that I got off of the web site. It was straight forward and the installation was as you would expect. It was not the easiest thing I have done on my airplane but it was by far not the hardest thing I have done. I would rather i...

Re: Headliner - Spruce or Airtex
Bruce,
I installed a wool headliner from Spruce last year. I had absolutely no issues with it. They make them to order and because I live right by Spruce I was able to walk in order it and pick it up so no shipping cost. I'll be happy to send you photos of it if you would like.

Electronic flight displays
Okay Guys, I need some help and know there are a lot of aviation smart guys here. Here is the scenario. A crew comes back and says that on top of decent two of the three displays go blank. I don’t have any other information than that. Don’t know if they went black(lost power) of grey(loss of dat...

Re: LeeBottom damaged by tornado
Paulding County airport in NW Georgia is still closed due to tornado damage this weekend. This is in President jwild's neck of the woods, but not his airport. I've emailed him but no reply yet. I did get a reply from a cousin in the area and no damage at his place in Powder Springs, closer to Atlan...
