Trickair Skis

I talked to the owner - Steve Schwister about the STC for our 170's. He told me that the approval for the planes [48 - 56] should be cleared by November.

Re: 2019 Cessna 170 Convention

I want to thank all the airport personnel at Newton [EWK} for all their help and also to all the convention people that made it a great convention. Since this year was a special year it was great to go to the old Cessna factory for the picture of homecoming. The flyouts were great and Mark and I put...

Re: Tail Beacon (ADS-B Out)

What I don't like about the uAvionix is that it senses the transponder by it's wiring antenna and the GDL82 senses directly from the transponder in line. I like direct sensing for positive results.
I am installing the GDL82.

Re: AUTOPILOT

I have a Century to install for some years and due to the "48" style cableing, I couldn't install without Mineral Wells doing some high tech testing. It seems that the "48's" with the cables up the back center are so easy to access but never STC'd, but the later models with the c...

Re: newbie with couple of questions

As Bruce said, check the scat hose from firewall to heater plenum. Mine was full of holes and shot. In the cabin the tunnel has sliding port holes at the front of your feet. Check to see if they are open and not covered. My panel lights have the squeeze and tension bulb holders and I got mine to wor...
