Re: C-145 (O-300A?) Heavy Leak/Drip & Tach Question

He is right saying that blue-green in color and thick like oil. That just what was leaking on my Front wheel pant. My IA called Friday and told me my intake was full of the blue-green dye from the 100LL. #5 Valves were bad, Intake valve was not letting the fuel in properly. Replaced #5 cylinder, wit...

Re: C-145 (O-300A?) Heavy Leak/Drip & Tach Question

I just went through this same problem with my 1964 Skyhawk. The fluid is dripping out of the intake tube back through carb and air box. Replaced #5 and 2 bad valves. The RPM movement I had this problem too. MAG problem, Engine 0300-D. Hope this helps.

Ordered from Cessna lift strut seal. Came UPS today, looks just like the 180 in your picture. Cessna part #R441212.

Re: Lift strut seals wanted for loan

That's what I have factory part, the back side has small rubber clips that hold it in place. The only reason it is off, I hit it with the buffer while polishing the plane. The lower seals are gone. Only half of the upper right remains. If you want the seals to make new ones call 817-439-83o6.

Re: Lift strut seals wanted for loan

Minton: I just took off the original seals off Friday. The seal is off the left upper side, they are in 4 pieces. You can see how they were made. Be more than happy to send you the pieces. Give me a call if you like to get more info. Rusty. N2935D.

Re: Color scheme O-300B

Dave, no printing at all on the placard. Several people have tried to come up with the answer no luck at all. Everyone thought the battery boxes were shipped to Cessna with the placard on the box. Cessna does not show a part number for the placard.

Here is my engine with it's new paint. I tried to match the picture in the original manual as close as possible (considering the picture was black and white).

Nuvite is great stuff. On 35D I started with 6 then 7. C, A, S. Now to keep polished I just use C and S. Rusty.
