It’s about time some you folks that made it to Blakesburg gave those of us not so blessed a report!

Agree the personal weight loss would be the most efficient but I haven’t been to successful. I just changed out my Venturi vacuum system,AI,DG, Transponder and encoder for 2 AV-30s and the tailbeaconX and gained 14 lbs useful load!

I love my Sentry!! Battery life is good and it’s small enough to not be in the way. I’m convinced I see a lot more traffic now than before ADSB. Debra even picks out traffic now and scolds me if I forget the Sentry.

Could the perceived lack of rudder authority actually be the lack of tailwheel steering?

George, I’ve always heard “Confession is good for the soul” and the telling of this tale may save somebody else from a similar fate. Does this mean I’m no longer sworn to silence?

The idea is to shuttle back and fourth but there is a 170 @ BVT who came in late yesterday. The plan is to bring folks in later today from FSO when the weather clears. Somebody will come get you either place when you can get in. The hotel has a shuttle from BVT.
