The handle goes on both sides on the 170.

Checked the sump I have access to and it is the three bolt version.

Sorry, I know of a perfect C145 sump. Don’t think they are compatible and don’t know if it’s available but if you know it would work, I can check. Owner bought it as a spare in case he would ever need it.

Picture of the cabin heat firewall fitting on my 52.

You will notice in the picture posted in the thread about baffles by hilltop170 that the firewall cabin heat fitting/control is a later style than 1952. The scat tubes look like 2 inch but I can’t be sure.

One more from two years ago. Pre buy and annual. This airplane sat in a heated hangar for 13 Years before I got it in January of 2020
