Can anyone tell me the proper way to jack a 170 ragwing? I plan on installing the P Ponk beef up and I need to get the wheels off the ground.
I know how to jack the later models but off the top of my mind I dont know on the 48.
Thanks,
Vic

Thanks for the replies, I was just curious cause later that evening after my instructor took his dad up to check him out who is also a cfi, they got back and commented about it being more sensitive than the cub and other tailwheel aircraft in that class, I guess it's cause they instruct in the cub a...

Landing a Ragwing
Hi all, Well I just bought my first airplane ever, a 48 C170. I have always had a thing for tailwheel aircraft, so after a year of looking I settled on the 48. Dont get me wrong I like A and B models but the price was right and I kinda like the fabric wing and the round wingtips. I test flew the air...

Engine shop
In New Hampsire I know of a fella that overhauls small aircraft engines. He overhauled a friends c-75 and it was a work of art. He has a small shop and is a straight shooter and is knowladgeable and nice to talk to. He works with small volumes so he can maintain his quality level. He has a small web...

Thanks guys. the owner called me and said it has one on the left wing. It was that the pics he sent me didnt show the part of the wing where it was mounted. I know in the olden days they would drop flares to light up the landing zone, not to practicle or prudent in todays world. Thanks again Vic. P....

landing light
Has anyone seen a ragwing with a landing light? if so was it a stc or 337. I imagine it would have to be of the retractable type.

O 300 C?
Hi all, I'm new member. I am going to take a look at a 48 ragwing, the airplane verbelly sounds good but... It has a o300C for a mill. I know from research that it came with a c-145 and heard of people using o300's on A and B models. My question has anyone seen a 337 or stc for a O300-C for a ragwin...
