Re: Is your Guillotine Firewall Slide completely CLOSED
While doing the annual inspection last month, it occurred to me that I had never operated that air door since buying the airplane last year. It worked as advertised but I took that as a reminder to check it's operation occasionally. That was also a good time to lubricate the spring (for corrosion co...

Same here Miles. I like things that make common sense and are easy to operate, as with Foreflight. This brings to mind McDonald's and their new "kiosks" for ordering your meal. I always bypass that and walk up to an actual person. Almost always I can order, get my meal, sit down and someti...

It's a game wherein you pitch small bean bags at a piece of plywood mounted at a slant with holes in it. At least I think that is correct.

She has an impressive writing ability. Maybe she could be coaxed into writing more stories of flights with her dad in their 170 and have them printed in the 170 News. Great article!

Sorry I missed you too Miles. As it turns out, I'm still in your area today, heading toward Chicago later today probably. If all goes well we will be heading toward Cody on or about the 21st.
I'm up in this area every few months, I'll look you up next time. Safe travels!
