Just looking at this baggage door mod.
So what I deduce is looking for a door from a 1963 172 or earlier and the door needs the framework and the donor door shouldn’t be red or green or should it be red but not green or was it the other way around! :)

I have another question about the back seat. I took the backseat out for my first annual and realized the seat back is bolted to the bottom seat assembly. I was only familiar with the front seat in the Cessna 140 in which the bottom attachment points of the seat back are simply on a spring rod that ...

Just waned to say welcome to a fellow NASAL AVIATOR! I earned my gold wings 46 years ago. I to have just purchased a C170B after flying the same 140 I soloed in 54 years ago! Had to get a wide body since flying a wide body has taken its toll!

Hi, just picked up my first Cessna 170B. I have a Cessna 140 but was getting tired of not being able to stretch out when flying. The 170B I purchased was advertised as a 1953, however when looking at the serial number 26137 it appears it falls in the 1954 list. The copies of the original application...

I had yokes from a Cessna 140 refurbished from another Cessna 140 ownerJeff Tourt. 815-695-9970 he is in Illinois.
