How to make a post

Postby Bruce Fenstermacher » Thu Apr 02, 2015 12:34 am

Here are some basics to posting at the forum. When you log in you probably see this main directory below. From it you need to choose an area of the forum you'd like to read or post in. For example we will pick The Pilot Lounge.

Below is what you see when you pick The Pilot Lounge. it is a directory in order of all the threads with the most current to the oldest. If you want to start a new topic to ask a question simply click the red NEWTOPIC button found at the top. Or if you wanted to read the thread 1st Quarter 170 News for example, click on it.

As you can see below clicking on 1st quarter 170 news thread opens the thread for you to read. If you wanted to post a reply to this thread you would click on the red POSTREPLY button at the top.

If you click post reply this is the window you will see. Type your reply and hit submit at the bottom when done. The only difference between this window and if you wanted to start a new thread with the NEWTHREAD button mentioned earlier is in a new thread you have to enter a subject and if you are posting to an established thread the subject will already be there.

These are the basics. Do not be afraid to join in. Do not be afraid to make a mistake. We have new folks all the time trying to figure out how to use this resource. We will point you in the right direction if you need assistance. There is over 10 years of posts and info here. You can not know it all or how to find and use it. Just ask, we will help.
CAUTION - My forum posts may be worth what you paid for them!
