FAA-SAID 2023-09, Parker TSO’d Hoses

Post by GAHorn »

The following was rec’d today concerning certain Parker Hoses which were originally intended for TSO’d installations.
Although our C-170 Aircraft are not required to have equipment meet TSO, some may be installed and this SAID addresses a concern wherein Parker apparently produced some hoses which did not meet the requirements of hoses which were to meet TSO.

Note; This does not specifically apply to our own recommendations to replace copper oil pressure sense-lines with hoses. Do not confuse this SAID with that recommendation as it is an entirely different matter.

An originality nut (mostly) for the right reasons. ;)
