I have a small dent on the front side of my strut. I have examined it with a 20X magnifying glass and done a dye penetrant inspection. Both inspections show no signs of cracks. I have a NDT inspection scheduled for Wednesday. My question is. What type of material is the strut made from. Is it 4130 or a different steel ?
