Wheel Fairings

Post by lowNslow »

Acompany called Williams Aircraft Co. advertises various 170 parts made under FAA-PMA in "The 170 News". They list mounting plates for 0541203 and 0541185 wheeel fairings. Since the 170 wheel fairings are part no. 0441143, does anyone know what wheel fairings they are refering to?

Johnny Williams is a very knowlegeable 170 guy, and is a TIC170A member. Call him and ask him if you have any questions, but it's probable that they fit later fairings for 172's/182's, which will also go onto a 170 if desired.

Spoke with Johnny Williams today, very nice fellow and very helpful. They are indeed for the later Cessna wheel fairings (152,172,182). He also said they would not work with original 170 fairings. I also asked if they would work with any of the fiberglass replicas, but he didn't know.
