Have not removed bulbs - Does any one have drawing naming the bulb P.N. ? Five (5) lights

I very much like the Lighted Glare Shield.

Beginning to notice brighter White LED "Candy counter LEDS" in grocery store check out .

I wonder ; could I locate small 12 v LEDS for the Schoerer Glare Shield?

I’ve had my Schroers glareshield since 1985 (door prize at the Blakesburg 170 Convention). I’ve had the lights hooked up since the early 90s, and they all still work. You could replace the bulbs with LEDs, but you’d have to add a special dimmer circuit. The simple potentiometer used with incandescent bulbs won’t work directly with LEDs.

MIles... SOME leds will work with simple rheostats. I’ve used a number of them in the reading lights I’ve installed for my overhead, map and rear-seat reading lights. One must ask the seller before purchase.

I found replacement bulbs for the Schroer Glareshield on Amazon as well as a couple other vendors. Do an internet search for 12v .15A bulb. None are cheap but at least they are available.
