Starter Shift Lever return spring

Post by 4-Shipp »

Aerotech of Loiusville hooked me up on starter repair, but I still need the starter arm return spring. Any suggestions on a source for this item? I could not find a part number in the cesnna 170 parts manual or the continental parts manual. Thakns.

The C170A manual is also missing the parts number for the spring. Such a spring is called out in the C145 service manual page 24, paragraph 1 (d). With no part number an appropriate spring, installed in accordance with standard aircraft maintenance practice, to return the lever to its fully relased position is all that is need.
