Old Style Light Switch Wanted

Post by reecewallace »

Hi all—

Does anybody have any of the old style panel light switches they'd be looking to part with?

The strobe light ON/OFF switch died in my 170B and is stuck in the always ON position.

I already replaced the landing light switch with a 3-position switch I found online, but the simple ON/OFF ones are difficult to find.

Thank you! Would this one work? It matches the head of my new landing light switch. It reads rating: 25A@6VDC, 15A@12VDC

I cannot guarantee it will fit because it’s not marketed as an aircraft switch...but it certainly looks like it would and the specs are good. The threaded shaft size was not described but it probably will. The good thing about Prime is it’s returnable.
Amazon also lists a number of alternatives on that page. Any of those which claim to be “marine” quality should be good for an airplane like ours.

Unless you’re casting-about for Ukranian models or Russian-Language offers/conversations... you might wish to disguise, code, or request Pvt Msg instead of posting personal telephone or email info on the public areas of the Forums or anywhere else on the Internet. Just IMO
