Oil Cooler System for O-300 Engines

Post by GAHorn »

A lot of C145/O300 operators sometimes worry about high oil temps and there have been many threads and discussions over the subject thru the years.

In an inadvertent examination of an early 172/175 IPC I came across what has to be one of the most complex oil-cooler systems I’ve ever seen for this engine. (It’s a kit-system for early 172 seaplanes.). I never knew Rube Goldberg once worked for Cessna. LOL

An originality nut (mostly) for the right reasons. ;)
