Wing Spar Carry-Through Inspection

Post by GAHorn »

Airframe Components is who rebuilt the wings on my airplane when it was restored and they have an excellent reputation for such work.

Here’s a short video they did on Inspection of Wing Spar carry-thru and spar “blocks”. Anyone who has attended our Convention Mx Seminars has likely seen the corroded spar “blocks” and the upper spar cap corrosion examples I usually bring. This area of both front and rear spars and both front and rear doorposts are the main strength of our 100 Series Cessnas:

An originality nut (mostly) for the right reasons. ;)
