1948 Flap Hinge Horn part number?

Post by Poncho73 »

I have a 48 170 and need a new flap hinge bracket. The 1948 170 parts manual calls for part number 0520106, the 1949 170A Model calls for part number 0523910; they look identical. Does anyone know if p/n 0523910 superceded 0520106 and is the same part?? There is a 0523910 on EBay that is available. Thanks

An originality nut (mostly) for the right reasons. ;)

Thanks, I was also wondering if that was the same as the 49 and subsequent A’s

I don’t know the answer, Poncho, but since it’s a different part-number I’d strongly suspect there is a difference, even if only minor.

The A hinge doesn’t work. I managed to rework the existing hinge. Thanks all
