Oil adapter gaskets

Post by n2715d »

I have the F&M 300-T oil adapter, (now Tempest CO 300). I have the 2 large gaskets for the adapter, I need the part number for the copper crush gasket that goes between the oil adapter and the oil pressure sensor adapter. It is a copper crush gasket about the size of a spark plug copper gasket. Thanks!

SB-001 Rev B changes the gasket to AN900-28 copper crush gaskets in both locations.

I think you mean oil temperature rather than oil pressure sensor adapter. The O-300 IPC shows a AN900-10 there. If you have the electric sensor (p/n S2335-1) Cessna Service Kit SK182-108B calls for p/n 0015-00724. This crosses to Rochester p/n 3080-37.

In addition to being aware of "issues" with the oil filter adapter, also make sure you have the correct oil temperature sensor adapter. It is discussed here.

Thanks! That did the trick and we are aware of the need to safety tie the adapter and replaced those gaskets too.
