O-300 Plus 20 camshaft

Post by MDHoover »

Does anyone know where I might find a plus 20 cam (530803P020) for my O-300? We are in the midst of engine overhaul and cam was rejected. If I can't find the cam I will be forced to either get a new case or pay to have my case repaired from P020 bore to original. It's starting to look like the repair might actually be less expensive and quite a bit faster than getting a cam that fits.

Thank you for your input,

Textron (Cessna), Continental, and AirParts ( https://airparts.aero/powerplant/cam-sh ... -camshaft/ ) all claim to have it “in-stock”….

AirParts prices it at $650.

GAHorn,

Not quite. The plus 20 part is the kicker. That's not a plus 20 cam. I did manage to find a shop that had one one the shelf tho!

Thanks for trying!
