Forward Ashtray(s) needed

Looking for at least one, but would take two forward ashtrays (170A) if they were better than the one we have.

Thank you for looking and posting, but sadly, those are for a newer airplane. The forward ashtrays on the ‘48 and 170A drop into the sheet metal cover on top of the sidewall panel.
I’ll post a IPC reference and pic.

No problem, my mistake. If anyone else wants them they are welcome to them if they pay postage. I am not planning on taking up smoking anytime soon.

I have one in Texas that is fairly rusty but restorable. It might be a rear, I can’t remember.

Some early ashtrays installed in the window-sill/ledge. (PN 0413120)...while others were installed in the side-wall(PN 0411030-4) . It might be helpful to specify the type desired.

The ashtray I am looking for is the 0413120, it is rectangular with the lid on top that inserts into the upper kick panel cover.

Can I ask why you need them? Are you just wanting something to fill the openings, or do you need them to be ash trays? If you don't specifically need them to be ash trays you could remake the interior piece out of aluminum sheet or you can do what I did and take the ash trays out and 3D print a "pen cup" that goes in the holes. I use the cups to hold my ANR headset controller.

Makes me wish I had those type ashtrays... GREAT IDEA, DOUG!

We remade the interior piece out of aluminium sheet so I believe we have two ashtrays in storage. If you haven’t found some before then, I’ll let you know when I can check storage in a week or so, more or less.
