Sadly, I will need to sell my beloved 1953 Cessna 170B, N1977C, sn 26122. I bought it in early 2019 from another association member, and hope to sell to the same - to a good home. It is not currently listed anywhere else, so association members can get the first shot. 1953 Cessna 170B - N1977C - sn 26122. Times are approximate as 77C still flies regularly. Currently hangared at KSNA (southern California).

~560 SMOH (completed in early 2017) - O-300A, superior millennium cylinders. I run XC 20w-50 + Camguard. All performed oil analysis has historically been in the clear.

All logs from day one, all ADs were in compliance last annual. Annual coming up due 3/31/23 (currently scheduled to go in 3rd week of March)
Known damage history: tailspring failure & lower rudder reskin in 1964

Some minor hangar rash. Rudder skin at the top is pressed in a bit from a previous owner incorrectly using a gust lock there. Doesn't need to be fixed and doesn't affect flight, but noticeable visually from certain angles.

Mueller exhaust kit and STC
Also have Bruce's cowl plugs, exterior cabin cover, and original interior gust lock mechanism.
I should add that I have a case with some 4-5 oil filters left, so you won't need to hunt for any for awhile.
