Planning to be there. Arrival date weather-dependent.

Planning on arriving Monday evening or early Tuesday and departing on Wednesday or Thursday. All weather-dependent. I'll likely stay at the Fond du Lac (KFLD) airport again as I've done in 2018 and 2019. I've come to appreciate the quiet there at the end of each day.

There is a 170 table in the type club area, but I’m not sure if the forum that Joe Scoles used to host has been handed off to a successor, after his passing.

Actually, we need volunteers for both Oshkosh and Sun-N-Fun tables. Jay Baeten has been our “behind the scenes” representative along with Joe for many years and word has come via the grapevine that he desires relief.

George, Jan has coordinated a group to cover Jay at OSH. If anyone would like to volunteer, just stop by the table and pitch in. If you contact Jan, she can likely provide the list and schedule she put together.

Last two Oshkosh’s I manned the table because, well it was unmanned :D Didn’t mind but the action was somewhat slow and it was very easy to do. So take it on anyone its not hard, just hot have loots of water.
I also thought of doing something because Joe would not be there but alas this thing came along which threw everyones timetables out the window.
Missing Oshkosh: I opted for cataract surgery this early summer because Mary Anne needed hers done and a sly (stupid) comment from me got a “ Well when did you last get an eye exam “ reply. Got the exam, didn’t have to get them fixed but the hospitals had zero wait time as eyes were the only elective surgery not affected by covid. Going forward if I waited I’d be in the back of the line of hip, knee and head replacement surgeries so I’m missing Oshkosh but gosh I’ve had one eye done and wow what a difference, so long 2.5 readers and maybe back to respectable landings. Or maybe I’ll be needing another excuse.

I’ll be there. Decided to airline instead of doing the trek in the 170. Will have my kids (11 and 5 years old) so please don’t judge me for not volunteering to man the Association table. Of course, if anyone wants to watch the kiddos for the day, I’d be more than happy to take over for them... :D

I’m looking forward to meeting some of you at the show.

Based on the current weather forecast I'm planning to fly in Monday - Thursday and will be in VAC for the first time. I've always either camped at the North 40 or in Camp Scholler.
