Hello
I failed to make it to Oshkosh this year
mainly due to the fact that my copilot (daughter) was on her honeymoon.
Also, I knew It'd be very hot this year
unlike the year before when it was absolutely gorgeous
with high temps of mid 70s.
Does anyone have a good aerial shot of all the C170s parked together?
There is one in the latest C170 magazine
but it is very wide and short.
Yes…Thanks for mentioning it…I didn’t know about that pic. (It looks to be a pretty airplane….until you stand it next to one that’s been polished since 1997!) I’ve never polished it….and never use soap on it… just wash it with a solution of WD40 and water.

And the one to it’s LEFT with the tent beneath it’s wing is Jim McIntosh!

50th Anniversary of Flight Model. Winner-Best Original 170B, 100th Anniversary of Flight Convention. An originality nut (mostly) for the right reasons.
Quite crazy in all the craziness of arrivals that we wound up being side to side George. Enjoyed myself greatly, It was a great convention year and a great Oshkosh week.

I’d like to also thank Dan Wood for often coming by, checking in on everyone and ensuring everyone was have a solid Oshkosh experience. It takes alot of effort to get to Oshkosh but it always seems worth the effort.
