New Caretaker! 170B
Hello all,
Thanks again for letting me roam the forums and pick some brains! A big thanks to Miles for all the help and guidance..
I'm the proud new caretaker of a 1955 170B with the 0360 conversion. Needs a few things but nothing serious..... Don't they all!! Pic is to big to upload??

Looks like fun! Airplane camping with the kiddos is one of my favorite things to do with our 170. Enjoy!

Re: New Caretaker! 170B
I think it might also be viewed as the tailwheel being placed in the Wrong Place on many “modern” designs. (and it’s also usually too BIG and “draggy” and complicated, needed shimmy-dampners, alignment scissors, leaky oleo-struts, steering-arms, and often complicated with “speed”-fairings that require complete-wheel-removal to get rid of it….
But it allows many wannabees lacking actual flying-talent to “drive” airplanes…
Need I say more..?
