Owners Manual 170 B updates?

Post by MoonlightVFR »

I have a C 170B s.n. 26433 1954

Owners Manual came with airplane purchase so many decades ago. No date of publishing

I am going re read it and wondered if it was ever updated by the Cessna manufacturing organization.

You are probably aware of severe criticism of a major aircraft manufacturer for not including printed manual instruction of a new feature in the world's most sought after passenger jet.

Apparently if you become casual about required aircraft paper work it will BITE YOU!

The Owner’s Manual is not a legal document, therefore doesn’t require any maintenance.

Don’t confuse it with a POH.

Or in the case of the 170, an Airplane Flight Manual (AFM).

The 170 doesn't have a Pilot Operating Handbook (POH) either.
