Pre purchase advice in PHX area

Post by N8293A »

Trying to find a mechanic/shop in the Phoenix, AZ area to provide a pre purchase/annual inspection on a C170A. Would appreciate a recommendation. I am researching this for a friend, he is considering buying N9955A sn 19315. I don’t think the current owner is a member of the association, wondering if a previous owner might be a member. If anyone has any info on this airplane let me know. Thanks

Locate an AP/IA outside the area.
You are searching for expert opinion.

Send copies of Logs /pertinent records - Your outside guy studies then - emails questions.

You pay Expenses for OS Guy to fly to PHX. Do hands on evaluation.

Purchase the airplane.

Many early aircraft are flying museum artifacts. You will become an aviation affectionato/curator.

We have at least 4 Members in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area. You might wish to contact them and ask who they use.
