Reliving some of my west Texas days as I was starting to explore and expand my off-airport skills.

Looks like a lot of fun!
I wish I was doing that instead of sitting here at Rome, GA watching the rain fall and ceiling getting lower wishing I could cross the mountain to AL and back to TN. :(

I’ll trade you our Texas drought/heat for that rain!

I thought you might think that about the same time I posted it!
They were definitely low but we made it over the hills and to home this afternoon, although it required a bit of pucker factor.
Keep the videos coming, I always look forward to them.

Like your name had to think for 1/2 moment; You want to be ID as a Tail dragger pilot as in conventional gear.

Noted you aircraft S.N. so close to mine. S.N.26433 N2890C.

SSN & C170 S.N. are memory items. Have to look up my wife's birthday. Age is a sensitive subject for some folks

Yeah, I had to give you a bad time. But a 30 foot pile of granite will kill ya just as fast as a 9000’ pile if you hit it.

Glad you enjoy the videos
